This week included a July 4th barbeque on the deck (complete with thunderstorm!), a trip to listen to some music played during the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.city.toronto.on.ca\/special_events\/streetfest\/\">Yonge street festival<\/a>, and dinner and anime with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.livejournal.com\/users\/theengineer\/\">Donald<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On the technical side of things there&#8217;s been:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A fix to my <a href=\"http:\/\/owlfish.com\/software\/utils\/RSyncBackup\/\">backup script<\/a> to be able to delete symbolic links correctly.<\/li>\n<li>Limited Photo album support added to PubTal (scheduled for version 1.1)<\/li>\n<li>Numerous fixes to XHTML handling in SimpleTAL (scheduled for version 3.4)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These &#8220;what happened to my weekend&#8221; posts are becoming a habit.
